The Pro-Sight Base Code Reader offers a smart and efficient way to automatically detect and read mould identification codes printed on the base of glass containers. Using a camera and vision lighting system, this unit is designed to identify alpha-numeric mould numbers displayed in a standard, typically ranging from 01 to 99 - with orientation bar recognition for consistent alignment and interpretation.
This solution is ideal for manufacturers aiming to isolate bottles from specific moulds for enhanced traceability, defect tracking, or batch containment.
How it Works
As bottles pass through the production line, the system detects each container’s presence and triggers image capture at a precise point. The captured image is then processed, and the mould number is automatically compared to a user-defined reject list. Bottles flagged by the system are directed for removal, reducing manual checking and minimising defective output.

This intelligent side-mounted unit gently diverts containers over the Base Code Reader’s camera and light source without interrupting conveyor flow.
